"When I found out I was pregnant with my first baby, I was very excited but also very nervous. My husband and I decided early on that we would like to work with a doula, and it turned out to be the best decision. Christine helped us feel educated and prepared throughout the pregnancy, and was always there to answer questions via phone or email. During labor at the hospital, Christine helped me, supported my husband in being my birth partner, and advocated for us when necessary. I was so lucky to be able to enjoy the birth experience that I envisioned; even though I had back labor and it went on longer than we thought it would I look back at it fondly. I firmly believe that the peaceful, loving, and empowering birth experience helped my baby too, and his early days reflected it. Every woman should feel this supported during labor and delivery, and I recommend all my pregnant friends to give themselves and their partners the gift of having a doula by their side!"

"I've had a goal of becoming a Childbirth Educator for many years, and the training program at Birth Beautifully was a perfect fit. With a comprehensive curriculum, a depth of research and the flexibility to adjust the content based on my needs, every part of this program spoke to me. I finished the training with a solid foundation of topics, resources, lesson ideas and support from Birth Beautifully. I'm so glad I am now a certified BBCE!"
