Placenta Encapsulation Specialist Certification Requirements

In order to certify with Birth Beautifully you must:

  • Attend a BBPE training
  • Read through the BBPE course book
  • Complete Biologix Bloodborne Pathogens course and exam for placenta encapsulators and send a copy to Birth Beautifully. Submit Form A 
  • Complete your state’s Food Safety course and send a copy to Birth Beautifully. Submit Form A
  • Read the research position papers on placenta therapy (list provided by Birth Beautifully)
  • Choose and read three books from the required reading list (Besides Birth Beautifully course book and research position papers) Submit Form B
    • Placenta the Gift of Life
    • Placenta the Forgotten Chakra
    • Placenta the Tree of Life
  • MUST INCLUDE ONE OF THESE:
    • Pathology of the Human Placenta
    • Life’s Vital Link: The Astonishing Role of the Placenta 
    • The Placenta: From Development to Disease
  • Complete the BBPE review test Submit Form I
  • Provide encapsulation for three clients. Submit Forms C-H
  • Include the BBPE trademark logo on your website (Upon certification a logo will be provided.)
  • Must complete certification requirements within one year of your training date
  • Must keep you Food Handler’s and Bloodborne Pathogens certification current, send an electronic copy to Birth Beautifully each year
